Used my Crater to ... open a bag of dog food, cut my sweet potatoe and turkey, and open up a box from Bass Pro Shops containing a pair of Redhead brand Camo Mocs.

I always forget about the Crater. Is it as good as their other stuff? I would imagine that it would be but then I thought the Wingman would be good too  :td:

On Christmas I used my Surge as a roach clip for some classy hand rolled cigarettes.

Today I used the awl to punch a new hole in my belt.

But really, I use my Surge everyday as a waist ornament that shows people how ready I am to go fix that thing, whatever it may be.

The Crater is one of my favorites, I have 1 plain blade , 1 plain blade with the screwdriver and just ordered a BO Crater with a combo blade. I will send some pics later. Its a great EDC , I swap back and forth with my Leek.

I have a similar story to another member's earlier post regarding a dead watch battery.  Mine had been in a drawer for a couple years though, and I finally decided to take it to Walmart to have them open the back so I could see what battery to get.  The lady could not get it open as it has as all metal strap that has a folding clasp, so it can't be opened to allow open access to the back panel.  So later at home, I had the genius idea of using the mini eyeglass screwdriver bit in my Charge to unscrew and detach a piece of the strap near the clasp, therefore allowing the open access to the panel.  I then used my Rebar pliers to grip onto the notches for opening, and with some significant preasure, was able to twist it open.  Just finally got the battery and now I am wearing my watch once again :tu:

I have also used the diamond file on each of my Charges to modify the small and medium flatheads of my Juice S2.  I filed the small one a little to the size of a mini screwdriver, and the medium one was shapened to an awl.  I find those two tools more useful and they increase the versatility of the S2 for me as the 3 flatheads are a bit much, especially when the large one is sufficient for my use.

Sorry for the multiple posts!  I've been inspired by some of the other stories and was reminded of some of the things I have used my Leathermans for in the past, before joining MT.O :)

Today as a matter of fact, I used my Juice S2 to straighten out the bent pocket clip on my tac-pen.  I also will shortly be using another Charge to file the large flathead of my TTi down to an awl.  I find I can use the flathead on the bit driver, so I may as well file the fixed flathead into an awl, which the Charges are sadly lacking  :(

I wish I had one, or a place for one.  I don't have a garage for anything of that nature, or any place I could put/use one.  I imagine it would make the task much easier and quicker :)

Used the Sidekick to put on and take off the chains on front wheels of my car. It was a life-saver -- at sub-zero temperatures in the Sierra, it was almost impossible to remove the slack in the chains without using a tool. I am sooooooo thankful I had it in my tool bag in the car.

Hey everyone, first post for me.

Used my wave to fix and adjust the door jam striker on my front door, fix the deadbolt that was sticking, and hang my dartboard in my new apartment  :multi:

Welcome aboard!  :salute:  New apartments always seem to be full of stuff to play with fix with a multi or two.

Oh yea, but it definitely sees more use at work. I'm a Subaru technician and use my wave to supplement running back and forth between my toolbox and the car. Very useful.

FINALLY!! a use for the silly flat drivers on my S2!

I could find my small screw drivers so the flat drivers to take apart and tune my mill and lathe today.

I actually filed down the smallest flathead a bit to make it an eyeglass screwdriver and the medium one filed down to an awl.  I find them more useful and they increase the versatility of my Juice S2.

The small one already fits the screws on my glasses...how much more did you take off? I am also contemplating milling an awl from the medium... :D

Seems to be a common complaint that 3 flatheads are redundant. I guess it depends on your regular needs - I'd always take an awl over a spare driver myself :)

Me too, so I did it :).

I tried this before but the grinding didn't give me the right profile. Since discovering the concave cutting edge awl, I took another "stab" at it. Made from the medium driver on a Juice.

My intention is to make this on my future ultimate BO EDC juice mod, so I can put keep the can/bottle opener.

Yup. More cutting area. When you are working with mm's of room, every bit counts

I didn't have to take much off.  I actually was basing the size I needed from the tiny screws on my watch wrist band.  I assume it will work for glasses just fine as well.  I see that you did go ahead and make the medium into an awl.  Looks very nice.  I wish I had access to the equipment used to do such things.  I just used the file on my Charge, which works, but is a bit of a chore.  Sorry I can't upload pics unfortunately :(  I would like to show my novice work.  Perhaps in the next few months I will have a smartphone so that I can do so.
