I played a bit with a blow torch today ...
on: October 08, 2012, 12:19:38 AM

... and made myself a few stainless steel pocket danglers. I'm trying out different sizes, longer, sorter, different sizes of holes, different tightness ...  to see which one works best for me. These are still in the rough, I need to polish them up a bit but I'm happy so far. I didn't burn down the workshop, or myself so that's , and I didn't spend any money as I used an old metal saw blade I had around. So what do you guys think?

Great idea  :gimme: :gimme: :gimme:
What did you use to make the holes? A drill would be my guess.

That would be the logical guess. It would also be wrong.  :P  I broke all the HS drill bits I had on another project and haven't gotten around to buy new ones. So I punched a hole and enlarged it with diamond dremel bits.

I made a few of those without the keyring attachment hole to use as low riding pocketclips. I was already using the ones with the hole before this way but this seems cleaner. I attached them with double sided adhesive tape for mirrors, similar to the one used on the Nite Ize eClipse clips. It won't fall off, but can be easily removed if needed, just like the eClipse.

I like that I can use the VIctorinox holster with my Spirit with the pocketclip still on it.

I'll add one to the Juice too, just need to make a hole on the back of the clip for the rivet. I didn't realize those Juice rivets were protruding so high.  :( Even doubling the tape didn't help.
