I have recently purchased the CT Lite, 41, and Swisschamp XLT, for the life of me I can not decide which tool I like the best and want to use for EDC.

I know I have better things I should be worring about, however it is something that I keep thinking about. lol

i've carried a swisschamp, most days, for the last 7-8 years (even if i do have another tool on me )
just a tip that worked very well for me.~ change the split ring on the tool itself for a slightly larger one (one size up i think) and then turn the connector thingy 180 degrees (i'm sure it has a name, and someone will enlighten me)
i found it is MUCH more comfy when using the tool
i hope that makes some sense ?
and the 'swisschamp' gets my vote every time  :tu:

I've been carrying a CT-34 for a 4-5 months now, and I love it!

CT Lite for me.  Same tools as the 34, but also has the Mag-glass/LED layer.  I find the mag-glass very useful in my old age!!!

I carried a Swisschamp for more than 25 years, but I was envy of the wrench and bits of the Cybertool 34 I bought for my wife, almost 10 years ago. I couldn't justify paying more than double the price for just a wrench, a spatula and 2 more blades but, finally, I said "You only live once" and got an XLT from Marius (the Greek).
Apart from the daily use of Swisschamps's tools (scissors, pliers, blades etc) I use the pruning blade and the wrench the most. If I find some more hex bits under 3mm I'm going to use it even more.
Why rest with less tools when you can have more?
I EDC a slim Alox Cadet in my pocket and the XLT in my bag. I carry a bag 90% of my out of the house time anyway and the XLT is the most useful weight I carry (along my Palm or iPhone, my digital SAK that is).

It's amazing just how much I've utilized the drivers and pliers on my CT34. When big pliers are too big or cumbersome to get where I need it to go the CT's pliers get the job done. MOF, this reminds me I need to get new bits because they're finally wearing down. I carry a dedicated folder but if the CT had a OHO blade it'd be the perfect EDC for me.

I thought the bits were 4mm?

I think he means the working end of the bit, not the holder spec.

There are CT bits with 2 and 2.5 mm tools; I have one on order from Rotokid, and one with the T6/T8 tools, but they are hard to find.

That's right, I only have a 4mm Hex bit (working edge) but a lot of smaller Allen screws on my telescopes and mounts. I dislike carrying around L- type Allen keys, so I could use some bits. I use Torx on them now but with mixed results.

I've been carrying my Cybertool 34 for about 12 years, it is still in good condition so I'll stick with it for another decade or 2.  It's amazing that the pen still writes and nothing has been lost.
As a computer tech the Cybertool is an incredibly useful tool to me, it is like having a computer tool kit in one small package.
