Oh jeez, that looks like a lot of work! Can I ask which Victorinox models those are? At least one of them looks to me like a Mechanic, but I may be wrong.

One is a Swiss Champ. The other is a mod I built. It's like a Special Mechanic, but with a corkscrew.

Oh man, that's an awesome idea. I love the Special Mechanic (it's in my bucket list list in the bucket list thread). And one with a corkscrew is even better — very cool mod.

Cleaning and adjusting some old glasses (old means 6 years ago, damm these eyes age going south) that I found with the swisschamp.

Had never used the small screwdriver so far and this was my chance. The screwdriver + the tweezers to handle the small screw and the magnifying glass bc these are some small things.

The swisschamp continues to make it very difficult for any other thing to take its seat as the EDC queen.

Only you could hold the glasses, tweezers, screwdriver and magnifying glass.

It's inconvenient, but any tweezers, magnifying glass and screwdriver would have the same problem.
The important thing is to have direct sunlight so you can minimize the magnifying glass.

This past Sunday, I used the Philips Screwdriver on my Skipper to fix something on a photo booth at church.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Not today but last week I was at a meeting and the thing that connected the computer to the big screen wasn't working and the person next to me started fiddling with it and found the reset button and said "now is the time when you should have a Swiss army knife on you" and I pulled mine out and gave him the small screwdriver to press the button. The look on his face was priceless

Didn’t manage a pic, but did use the 91mm awl to extract the remains of a headset that had broken off inside the headphone jack on one of my kids’ Kindles.  I wasn’t initially optimistic I would be able to get it, but I think I got it all.  The real test will be whether the headphone jack still works or not…

Beautiful, is that a custom Woodsman? Such a great looking knife — the scales, the toolset, everything.

This is like one of my nightmare electronics scenarios. I had this happen once in a Nexus 7; I never got the thing out.

Though they have their own drawbacks, this is certainly one argument in favor of Bluetooth headphones over the wired variety.

I have a stupid setup for my main headphones that requires two sets of XLR cables and a USB B(!) to USB C . But the sound quality is really good!

Thanks! Started out as an explorer but didn't like it that much and made more sense to have a woodsaw instead of the scissors and then I got two weekender and one kindly donated the serrated blade
