Alox Money Clip--blade got used to sharpen the ends of weed eater string (big cheap folder I had wasn't precise enough) many times, Also used the scissors for some stuff. The "money" clip (which is a tool by the way according to Vic) served as a pocket clip all day long.

Tinker. Main blade cut a lot of stuff later today once I ditched the big cheap knife.  I used the cap lifter's screwdriver to attempt to detangle a tie-down that would have held some posts into the UTV bed so they don't fall out.

This weekend I used the SwissChamp's saw to quickly cut down some wooden shims to size, the in-line screwdriver to hold down the miter box to a temporary work bench, the chisel to help fit some wood pieces in to place and the cap lifter to open a can of paint so that the Mrs. could go to town with the paint brush. When we remodeled the kitchen a few years ago because of a 'minor' leak, I used my CyberTool 41 a lot for small tasks when I didn't want to search for the full sized tool. Now I wouldn't think of starting any household job without my SC by my side. It is endlessly functional and unfailingly dependable.

Well, i finally managed to come back here. Sorry for my absence and so on... But... because my son managed to get a hold of the courtyard keys and threw them away (most probably, they are nowhere to be found), i had to change the whole locking mechanism in the cellar, because we needed some stuff from. The rest of the locks arw waiting to be changed. Procrastinating and sh (it). Like the vodafone and ing developers. They really f-ed up those apps and right in these times i have to get in person there. Smart, really smart. But enough with my rant and...
I used 2 tools in order to screw some screws in?!  Drywall screws in some pinewood/sprucetree, kinda wood. No electric tools by hand, so first: used the awl from a wenger ranger electrician to make a little bit of a hole. Clapped on my fingers repeatedly. Not the best, but it had the diameter i needed, not to big. Then, some leatherman st300 got the screws half in. After that, the wenger had to work. Thing is, the wenger has a way better torque power. The st300 felt and is still feeling a little... wobly?! The phillips screwdriver. Developed some play, but it's still holding on an not closing on my fingers like the wenger awl. And now the end. Between wenger and victorinox i would always choose wenger for the in the scales build screwdriver. Because look at the pictures.

My Super Tool 300's pliers teeth just don't grip too well. The SwissTool's are just right for fencing work. The more I use it, the more I feel the SwissTool is the ultimate multitool. Now, if only Victorinox would modify the design to be more useful with gloves--mostly by offering larger cutouts on the handles and outer tools. I would say do away with the high polish on some tools, but that decreases rust resistance (which is why bead-blasted Leathermans rust easily).

A large piece of a rotted tree had broken off; and had bent over the fence it was attached to. Primarily due to an individual to cross over onto the property without permission (in other words, trespass) whose actions were responsible for two days of fence repair.  Let's just say I wanted to put my size 9.5W steel toe workboot far up their back end long before I was even done. We replaced the fence along the property boundary a couple years ago. This newer, high-tensile stuff is crap. The old fence, on the other hand, put in in the 1980s, is Red Brand. That stuff cannot be cut with anything less than bolt cutters, so, uh, my MT and even ten-inch Klein lineman pliers wasn't gonna cut it. And I couldn't pull the staples.   I used the metal saw, and it went through the wire like it was nothing. The top line of the wire was the hard part, and is of an extremely thick and heavy gauge.

I wanted to bake Nutella brownies but my sister absconded with our baking trays at the beginning of lock down, enter the Explorer and some non trivial amounts of foil...

It worked pretty well!

Great uses everyone

Frankly speaking, I hoped for this to arrive during my 30-day Work Champ challenge, but it didn’t. So I’ll post it now.

A few weeks after hours of watching and listening to different reviews I pulled a trigger on a new set of noiseless pickups for my Fender American Standard Telecaster. I went with Seymour Duncan Vintage Stack set if you’re interested, hoping they will give me that spark single coils deliver but without all the additional hum.

And so as they arrived I went on to install them using the Work Champ

For those interested details are below, for everyone else here’s the final pic

Show content
First of all a large Phillips was used a lot to unscrew all the parts

Then the guide says you need to twist and solder and tape red and white wires, so I used scissors to cut the thermal isolating tube

Installation time - lots of screwing again of course and even pliers to pull the wires from all those hard to reach places

Small Phillips was used as well on some screws so it’s definitely a nice to have

And scissors again to cut open a new set of strings

Conclusion: I definitely received what I was after and sound wise I can tell it’s an upgrade for sure. Though the set I got on eBay marked as open box and again it was all mess - box was damaged and neck pickup had totally wrong set of screws with it that are slimmer then the holes on it, so I had to improvise with mounting it
Dream. Wish. Leave nothing undone. Repeat.

Day two of the mediocre British Bake Alone saw the Explorer cutting more baking paper and pulling the wire tray out of the oven (you guys are right, the hook is great at that).
