SAK in 'American Werewolf in London'

After David becomes convinced that he's a werewolf, he is preparing to end his own life. He calls home to America, and talks with his kid sister, hangs up the phone, pulls out a swiss army knife, and sets the blade against his wrist... but chickens out.

It was impossible for me to tell what model the knife was, but it looked to be very thin, one or 1 layers. The knife had red scales and the standard spear point blade shape. I can't get it any closer than that.

I've probably seen this movie 30 times. But not in the past 20 years. We were watching it because a friend of mine said he'd never seen it.
