Hidden Flat Bit Driver on SAK
on: February 06, 2013, 01:51:45 PM
Was reading up on the 42 Uses For The Corkscrew when I happened to grab a Leatherman flat bit just to see if there was a way to use them on a SAK. And...

You can! Package Hook as flat bit holder. Who knew?

Corkscrew side works for counter-clockwise, and the awl side works for clockwise directions. Of course there are far more bits than just the standard & phillips, was just what was within easy reach. Was rather excited so grabbed a photo and posted my (to me) new find.    :D

Edit: Added another bit photo.

What about the pliers at (almost) closed position? Like with the fine Leatherman bit we've already seen?

Sounds like something that belongs on the Hint's and Tips Thread...

http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,42283.0.html
If you can't fix it with duct tape, a hammer, a screwdriver, bailing wire, zipties, or a Swiss Army Knife, it's broken and irreparable.

This "fitting" thing is indigenously silly! I like it for what it is. Are there any more SAK related findings?
