We know.

The seller droped by asking for an estimate before he listed it, and gave us some info after the sale.

No problem. :D We don't mind duplicate threads around here. We usually have a couple active on the same subject. ;) I only linked you cause the seller was active in the other thread.

We love pictures, you're very welcome to show us your 10th anniversary PST. :salute:

What other multitools do you have? Are you only a Leatherman collector or do you fancy other brands too?

When you find the time drop by our New members forum and make a proper introduction so we can give you our famous Multitool.org welcome. :D

Thank you for the link. Always good to keep current. A friend of mine sent me the ebay link as I do not keep up on multi tools. I do own a few old Leatherman tools along with this 10th anniversary PST. But I am far from a collector. As a matter of fact my gold tool is in a box out in the garage. But my friend knows I have it and he says I can will it to him....as he is a collector. To back up my claim and as per your request here are a couple of photos. Had to look deep in this old comp to even find them......

They are mounted under a piece of plexiglass in the plaque. I guess you could open it and use it but why take the chance of ruining it. Mine is basically just a dust collector also, I don't think I've ever displayed it.

I think is not that bad. When the damascus wave came out I paid about $ 1000 in norway. It is a rare model whit only 200 produced. A ordinary Wave cost about $200. This is the first I have seen sold on ebay.

So if I had the money and seen it before it was sold I have bought it. If some one wants to sell a 10th pst please send me a pm

"I can't believe that someone actually paid $2750 for that thing"

When you take in consideration what the Dollar is worth over seas, 2750.00 isn't that much really.

So I see a mention of a possible buyer in here......Whats the offer? hehehe Ruby's, Sapphires, Diamonds Oh My!!!!!

I am the original owner of mine. My mother-in-law knew I loved leatherman tools and she called the company looking for a hat or shirt or something that had Leatherman on it for Christmas. Somehow she was able to purchase it for me as a christmas gift and as a bonus I got a hat and sweatshirt. I've never displayed it, it has been sitting in a drawer all these years.

So Bob have you ever been tempted to remove yours from the mounting ? I wonder if the gold plate makes the tools difficult to open

"Trade value is $30,000 for mine - $20,000 Cash."

I wonder if anyone is that keen/desperate/overly endowed with cash ?

If this seller is correct these may be moving from the "Shelf-Queen" category to "Safe-Queen"
