Actually seen one the other day, at a collector's business office. Told him about MTO and that him and Chako would get along quite well. He's even got a HUGE Boker Knife that is made of real materials and fully functional. He had many unique knifes, and an ornate butterfly knife that's about 3 feet long.

There on the shelf, behind some books, he's got a Leatherman 10th Anniversary PST. He just passes it off and says Leatherman gave it to him. Never ever thought I'd see one in person.

Though I did want photos none were permitted inside his business, privacy concerns. Was quite taken aback at his MASSIVE collection. He's prolly got more than Chako even, but knives are his business too.

But a post without pics means nothing. And as such I have none.  :D

4h 16m to go with a $280.00 bid and "Reserve not met" I'd say ... $860 >:D but the Reserve could be well over a $1000.

For some reason I don't think it will break a $1,000. We shall see how many deep pocket snipers show up.    :D   I also hope a collector wins it and not the ebay dealer who has the high bid at the moment.

Noticed that when it was listed the other day. That is the main reason I thought it might not bring as much as some others have lately.

I think you might be onto some thing...........

1,112.22 was a bid from 800.00 THEN BAM 2500.00. Guess He/She wanted it more. David, you hit the nail on the head with the Sniper statement.

And I thought it would be cheaper - had hoped.
Will now have to find the money to pay winnings - the pearl of the collection.
Already contacted seller, to tell the story of ownership.

After a couple of months, I'll hold it in your hands  :climber:

More than half of the my collection assembled :)

Thanks to all of you for your congratulations.
If you're interested I can open topic which will lay out his collection of photographs of the body with an explanation (year, model, etc). Just now going to conduct an inventory.
Can you then tell me where to look for the missing Multitools :)

Probably not at all - it will be photos multitool + description. All Multitools collection (about 100 pieces). Perhaps on the basis of this, then will be created describing the topics separately for each type (so far only a preliminary review prepared for LM Charge)

Hi All, this is my first post here and the reason for it is to assure Loki of the authenticity of the 10th anniversary tool he just won. The man I bought this from lives in Portland , Oregon , he had a company called "Prestige Wood Specialties" some of the items they made were Walnut display boxes. ( beautiful ones I might add) He was contacted by leatherman to build the plaques for the anniversary tools and he agreed to the job and told them he wanted one of the tools, he was allowed to keep the one he was given to design plaques with and has had it until now. He contacted me two weeks ago to see if I would buy some Kershaws that he had also made display boxes for and while I was there I purchased the rest of his collection, including this beautiful PST. I have talked to him today and he has agreed to write an account of how he came by it and sign and notarize the document, while it is not an original COA, it is the best I can do. When I listed the tool I had no Idea they had a COA in normal cases. I just wanted everyone to hear this account and to assure Loki that he has purchased the real deal. Thanks for Reading, Kershawguy.

Might I add, my comment about the missing COA was not to infer that the tool was fraudulent in any way shape or form. More that the two go hand in hand. With the story being told about how the tool was ascertained it makes sense that the COA wouldn't be accompanied with the tool itself, as it was given just as a model for reference purposes. Again Congrats loki on your purchase!!!

The thing I was wondering though is ... does that mean that there are in fact 201 of the 10th anniversary PSTs out there and not 200 we were led to believe. :P
