I own close to 10 Swisschamp variations. 5 are stag handled, one is horn, and the others are varied.

My first Swisschamp.  :salute:

Anyone know when these first came out and when production ended?
Looking for a Red model now.

Looking for a Red model now.

I nearly bought one a couple months back.
I was poor and they were asking for more than I had.
Roughly what are they worth?

I really don't know the value of these as I mainly collect Alox knives.
I know this one is a little harder to find as it has the Roman Numerals on the watch dial.

Another HornyChamp, rugged elegance. I was wondering if anyone carries their horn scaled SwissChamps, I would like to know how the scales wear, but thinking they must improve with age. Anyone have such a thing? :)

I can't get enough of my swisschamp! The thing literally goes everywhere with me, and It sleeps right next to me on the nightstand. I'll try and get some good pictures tomorrow!

Question about that beautiful super timer, do the back scales have the tweezers in them ?

Nice one! Carried one like that for years.  :tu:

And no, Super Timer has no tweezers, but newer electronic scales do.

My first SwissChamp, it was real dirty and difficult to open when I got it.
After a hot bath and a bit of Tuf Glide it feels much nicer, still has some oxidation on the alum liners so I will have to break out pipe cleaners for that.

This is a great assortment of tools but it is a bit big for edc.
It will either go in the kitchen or car.
An awesome SAK to say the very least.

Wow - some great variations posted to this thread. Congrats to all owners of this top model!!!!

Here's mine:

The leather pouches are both model 4.0567. They are slightly different with one having velcroed side flaps and the other having belt loops to secure the side flaps. The white scaled Swisschamp has no pin and thus the granddaddy of this modest fleet.

After the events of last week I was going through my fathers things and I now have swisschamp number 4.

This one is completely unused and has the old round mini screwdriver

I guess I'm now part of the club seeing as I picked up a SwissChamp XLT yesterday. I'm not exactly certain how I walked in the store wanting to buy a Pioneer and leaving with an XLT

I'm a temporary member - I got an SC in a swap with lowtech but I'm going to remove pliers, scaler and metal saw to make my dream SAK, a Woodsman (Explorer with a woodsaw) Here's a 'before' pic;

WIP and 'After' pics to come when I start the modding. It'll be my first. The SC is too big for me to EDC

Yeah, they're passing through my hands too at the moment.  I still have little bits left - mostly fish scalers...

Must get round to buying one for the collection.

Is the fish scaler the least liked tool?

I guess it's all personal taste - I love the hook!

Less functional than the wood saw (and I don't like that much either), in my opinion.
