Which one should I buy 1st

Harvester! It's got the pruning bladed instead of the useless can opener, and no keyring!

  Eww, no keyring. That's why I voted for the farmer, having the option to carry it onto something. Wenger Standard Edition would be better, but no saw. Has a bail that can be removed. Can insert a smaller diameter paracord through that if wanted. Besides, bails are sexy.

  Gotta have a can opener. Each tool does more then what it is labeled for. Can opener is great for opening pistachio nuts, clipping nibs off, peeling an orange, steak flipper, box opener, etc.

Got to agree, keyring/lanyard attachment is a must in my book, too. I find a small lanyard just helps with the grip. I really love the bail on my Wenger SI, but the lack of saw means the Farmer has the edge.

An SI with saw and scissors would be absolutley perfect for me. The keyring attachment for the Farmer is badly designed I think - unusually for Vic.

I must admit, I do prefer the bail on the SI as it can be moved out of the way of the awl and with a small lanyard, kept in the palm of the hand, enabling tangle free use.

Edit - I should add, I still find the lanyard attachment functional on the Farmer, and the bonus of a saw really makes it a great little package.
