I was trying to break off a cracked pvc fitting when I heard a snap. Sadly it didn’t  come from the pvc.

Yeah, I’m a little shocked as well. I don’t know if I torqued it wrong, but for the amount of pressure I used, I wouldn’t have expected it break like that. I guess it’s possible there was already a crack present.

I included a closer up view of the broken parts. It seems like a pretty rough casting.  [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

The Free T2 has gone from something I initially hated to a tool I actually like--and it only took 4 years.  Free tech really sold it for me compared to my old C33T.

One thing I need to do is get a few clips on order--I've got two Bonds (old Rebar blade, and the new sheepsfoot) and this Free T2 that really need them.

PS: decided I'd dedicate my cheapo Vivitar PopSnap/VEC 124 camera to challenge use.

My phone (Kyocera DuraXA Equip) is rather bulky (it weighs about 7 ounces and is rather thick) and my nice new Kodak camera cost me almost $100 (plus the like $20 memory card in it). The Vivitar on the other hand--$30, and takes pretty low-quality photos that look like they are from a 10-15 year old cellphone (but weirdly marginally better at lower resolutions--it's a 32MP camera but I only use the 8MP option). Fairly lightweight, and due to the low cost--I don't care what happens to it ( old 8GB Micro SD is out of an old phone I had laying around). I got behind in more than a few as I didn't have my phone on me (and I've only had the Kodak about a month).
