Pretty much all of the above (except the padlock).  And drywall.

wood and drywall. Everything else I usually use the "hacksaw"/metal file on the bottom of the Vic file. That's been used on everything from plastic to trimming off screw heads. Very underrated tool that.

I've cut holes in drywall, small branches from trees and shrubs, and some small wood trim pieces that had the temerity to get in my way once.  And one memorable day I cut a chunk of rubber out of the side of an old tire with the saw on my old Wenger Monarch.

These are some very interesting replies. I wouldn't have expected them to survive cutting metal and bone

Um, definitely wood, both tree and processed, but besides that, um, lets see, PVC, cpvc, abs, and other plastic, drywall(sucks cleaning out) drop ceiling, pumpkin(there's a post on here for proof!) dog bone treat, and most certainly finger skin! JR

Wood, plywood, several plastics (PVC and other types), rope (great on thick navy rope, cannabis and plastic). And myself, just a bit (the knife blades and can exposed metal edge win there, hands down).

Wouldn't a serrated edge work better than a woodsaw for thick rope?

Perhaps, but my Swisschamps didn't have any serrated blade. I just bought my first serrated knives just recently, after joining MTO and acquiring an Opinel Outdoor, a Surge and a XAVT. A Swisschamp with serrated blade and the 93mm awl instead of the fish scaler would be a killer, but there's no such thing yet.

Last thing I cut was polystyrene, chasing some wiring into a coolroom wall.

Most common thing is myself.
