Victorinox Pocket Watch

I'm hoping somebody can give me some info on this pocket watch. I've had it for about 15 years. It needs a new battery, but I have no idea what type. It also looks like I'll have to have it installed by a pro as I can't see a way into the watch. I don't remember where I got it from. It came with a nice leather pouch and a very sturdy chain. Thanks for any info you can give me!

As you can't see a way into it, it's probably a screw back case. You need something like this: http://www.watchbattery.co.uk/shop/products/TL-C556.shtml (Link only to illustrate, I have no affiliation with that shop.)

It would be easy to see whether it's a screw back case if you posted a picture of the back of watch.

But, if you're going to have the batter changed by a pro, why worry about the type? He or she will probably have it available.

It could also be a pop off case back,I did a quartz pocket watch at work a few weeks back and it didn't look like the back came off as was so flush and we'll fitted,but it popped off with a case back blade

The watch is worth the ten bucks to have the battery change done by a pro. You can do a variety of interesting damage figuring out how the back comes off...
