Wenger Cigar cutter
on: January 18, 2014, 01:07:28 PM
When did Wenger switch from the original style cigar cutter (no scissors) to the
current style? Found an original in unsharpened conditioin yesterday at a flea market
for $7.

Thanks
Rich

The Wenger Cigar Cutter is an 85mm model with a specialized tool for the cigar smoker.

This page covers several different models and needs to be updated.

Oh.

To be honest, I'm not aware of an "original" version without scissors and I don't know where that information from the wiki was taken from.
But I may be wrong.
As far as I know, and at least in Europe, both models, with (1.79.36) an without (1.79.37) scissors, were available since the 90's.

I had almost the same post typed out and then a red warning pops up.

Serves me right when I open 20 tabs of different threads. ;)
