Okay, that second thousand came around pretty quickly. and in celebration I am putting up for grabs a nice little refurb'd 84mm Vic Tourist.

The main blade has been "converted" to a sheepsfoot profile at some point in its past and I embellished it slightly with a vine filework pattern on the spine. The other tools are all as nature intended and the scales have been replaced with "Brown Mallee" burl wood showing the exposed brass pins that hold the knife together. The wood is finished with boiled linseed oil and shows a nice burled grain. I think it ventures out of being merely a SAK and just into being a "gentleman's knife".

"normal" giveaway rules apply with the following additions/amendments.
20 post minimum. I want to be newbie friendly but not lurker friendly.
Must be legal for you to own it in your country at your age.
I will pick up postage worldwide. But if you want registered, express or insured you will have to make up the extra.
Entries close when I get up on Monday 10th FEB 2014 here in Brisbane AEST. or GMT+10 which will mean for most of the world get your entries in before you go to bed Sunday night on the 9th.
Kiwis, you get an extra few hours Monday morning, but you're special anyway. ::)
Draw by random.org, if no exact match then redraw(s) until we have a winner.

Pick a number between 001 and 200 inclusive and PLEASE try and keep the list in order.
(I mean orderly, not in numerical order... but that too :facepalm:)

It's not super hard, but lots of practice makes it easier.
I started off doing it on the edge of some 3mm thick aluminium sheet. Easier to work and can use plain needle files rather than the diamond files. After getting the basics on that I moved to Sak blades.
This is actually an early one but it still turned out okay. My first attempts on the Al looked terrible and would have ruined a blade's looks rather than enhancing them.
