Yes, some of the stranger tools out there are found in this category. That first is a Jeep Tool. It is odd all around. More of a full size knife with added pliers and other functions. That middle one is a very unique fishing multi-tool. That last one is one of the more unique survival kits I have seen. Inside that black container is a small survival kit...fishing gear, fire starting matches, etc.

Here is a link to it...

And even more...

Okay, I'm being lazy rather than try to find an original thread please give me some background on this one.  It appeals to me in some strange way.

I agree with Lynn.  Very cool!

Although not common some of those weren't that cheap.  The Topeaks and the Radius? in particular if I recall correctly.  If you found a less expensive path for those please share!

Those fall into off brands as far as multi-tools go in my books. Never said they were all cheap.

That is not a crunch copy Yadda. It is a copy of the Kershaw A100.

I rechecked my photos. I do not see a Gerber Radius anywhere in here?

You are welcome.

Those Topeaks I included because they tend to stick with bicycle tools. Those however are Topeak McGuyvers, the only Topeak multi-tool designed for survival that I know. All others are bike tools.

Agreed.  Just noting, some of these are one offs, but they are expensive.

One-offs?  I think that is wrong. they are all production multi-tools.

Ah that one. That is a Switch by Quirky. Not a cheap tool...but definitely off brand.

A poorly made PST knockoff. Labeled Pro-Case. Unlike Lynn I can't destroy the bad ones.

Oh... that one doesn't rate anywhere NEAR bad enough on my radar to deserve destruction. The ones I destroy half destroy themselves first. Open blade, pin falls out, all tools on one side fall onto floor... that kind of thing. :D

Check out the review on the 'High Uinta' I posted above. I'm sure it's every bit as bad as your PST knockoff.

Also... I kinda like PST knockoffs. :D

This one does have half a missing pin.  The tools didn't fall out, but one side of the pin is completely missing.  It is a really smurfy tool, but I keep it in my backpack for messy jobs and as a loaner.  If someone were to borrow it and never return it I would consider my luck changed for the better.
