Any flashlight experts out there is this silicone grease safe to use to lubricate threads and orings?(Image removed from quote.)Also what other tips to you guys have for taking care and maintaining our lights?
It most certainly is. That is exactly what I use for all my orings--same brand and packaging. I don't recommend PTFE, as it is a petroleum product and, due to that fact, I'm not convinced that it's compatible with all o-ring materials.I've used a PTFE product from Radio Shack called "Super Lube" in a pen dispenser, and it has caused some of my o-rings to swell.

I use the grease form, not the oil. Their own website's FAQ states that their grease is safe for "Buna, Nitrile, Viton, Neoprene and Silicone rubbers."
