yes, they fit in the tube. The ratchet sits on top of the bit barrel, and the whole assembly fits in the tube. they do not rattle in the tube, they are nice and silent. Although there is a lot of unused space.

All three have pros and cons.

The Bosch comes with 19 impact bits (S2 steel) and 4 sockets and a socket adapter, and a bit extension. And it is inexpensive, but with some design issues.
The Giant comes with 9 bits (S2 steel) and a nice case, it has an in-line bit socket, and it is tiny. A little expensive but great quality.
The CyclingDeal comes with only 6 bits (S2 steel), and a great aluminium tube with a mounting bracket. Expensive but great quality, and it is easily serviceable, and robust.

I got all of them to compare them. I'll post it soon. :cheers:

Got this Vic neck carry, designed for the classic but rambler fits easily and manager with a bit of convincing…will it stretch to the midnite manager :dunno: not got one to try but like the idea of a small back up EDC kit around my neck

A customised white Compact from the far too generous SurgeUK  :hatsoff: It's one of my favourite models of SAK and I've been curious about white for a while now, looks fantastic in person as well as on camera  :popcorn:

Also got in an O'Pen mini, the size is great for adding to an organiser or an altoids kit, whilst the bolt is fun to play with. And finally courtesy of the missus, the backdrop! I'm gearing up to start a gear channel so she bought me a big piece of leather to act like a mat  :tu:

Not a tool but it holds tools. My carhartt lunch box next to my new 13in Carhartt toolbag. Whenever we paged to a machine to fix, never know what the issue will be. So better off bringing a small set of tools to fix most easy jobs.
