Yeah really caranthanus, if you didn't say nail-file at the beginning the last half wouldn't sound right!

But yes, I need a nail-file, grant it having a little pair of scissors can trim everything but it's nice  having the file trim up the loose ends or clean everything out. Of course there's biting but that's something you learn not to do after working in my field! ESPECIALLY after pulling a certain pump! Lol,, JR

As I sit on my Crapper Throne in the Reading Room and explode on the Commode, thinking, how my flush beat John’s and Jerry’s pair? Jack’s had to run for the Water Closet yet ended up tripping on a Can bowing and hitting his Head on the Porcelain God! 🚽

... I guess you 2 are referring to different saw/file combo tools.

Ow yeah.. now it figures.. I was talking about this little Satan's Beauty Parlour implement:

Using the nailfile on a GAK is much safer when you have the sawguard so you won´t rip into your finger when you slip with the file.
:D :D You're right. I realized immediately afterwards that he talks about GAK
Otherwise, little bit of advertising for the best nail file does not harm  :D

But, in fact, there's no significant difference between the position of tools, except that those saw would earlier grab your fingers, if not used corretly  :D Therefore a mentioned technique  remains in play  :D

Thanks for the offer, but my GAKs don't get edc=ed(they can't make finger salad in the drawer)... too many better alternatives - winter Swisschamp, summer Tinker, forest OHT, harder work SI, hardest work Leatherman...
