As far as EDC, although I have a sheath for my MP600, I often just toss it in my back pocket (where I barely notice it :D )
Right or left? I've got to be honest, I've never even considered back pocket carry got a multi...
Wallet in right pocket and MP600 in left.
I think ill have to try that...
I carry mine in the right back pocket next to my wallet, on the right of it.  Keeps it vertical and in place so it's less noticeable.  Of course the larger/heavier the multi, the less effective this method is.

Got my MP600 out to play with the mechanisms a bit and noticed the PE blade, which I used once after getting it a week ago, had some flecks of rust. Guess the finish doesn't stand up to the Ohio Valley environment as well as I expected.

Nice, and I like to see someone take advantage of the lanyard loop. One of the many nice features of the tool :D

The two tone is nice, really makes the tool look much sharper, like it's wearing a suit. And the pocket dangler really makes this tool for me. I cant seem to find another way to carry this tool.

Yep, lanyard loop is nice, if you use it. If you don't, I can see how it's frustrating to have. It is a bit thick, I feel like halving that tool slot with the small driver and adding a woodsaw would make Gerber a real competitor.

I'm really close to snagging a bladeless MP600. I think it would be a good compliment to carrying a folder  :tu:

The bladeless MP425 mod is perfect with a dedicated folder.  :tu:  The bladeless 600 would do the same in a larger package.  I need to get myself one as well.

I think the only snag with the official bladeless 600 is the replacable cutters. Shame they didn't go with a standard plier head IMHO

They should also change their blade-holder. Hard to get u-shanks with holes these days...

It looks like Home Depot has some u shank blades with holes on their site.

I've read about the cutters not being the strong point but I don't cut that much in the way of heavy materials. The extent of what I might cut is string for the weed wacker and the occasional coat hanger.

I rotate my carry between a Crater C33T and a Gerber EAB.

Noted Joe  :salute:

The one time that I crunched the cutters though, I wasn't actually cutting anything... I was actually using the main gripping area while trying to assemble a large kerosene heater, and gripped a littled too deeply in the plier heads.  :-\ just something to be wary of mate

From time to time you can get some cheapos here, mostly for wood, rarely for metal. But never quality blades, or a bit of more exotic ones like the waved one for softer materials:

It was actually with a MP700 not MP600, but either way I'd prefer the 600 to have standard jaws

That being said..... I still do actually like the MP700, but there isn't the option for an alternate plier head on that tool. I have also learnt my lesson and try to pay more attention if using the main gripping area  ;)

I've found the standard (non-carbide) cutters to work great. I prefer them, which is why I bought the standard stainless version.
