Interesting.
I wonder what the UI will be like? The focusing head seems to be incompatible with the typical rotate-head-to-adjust-light-level UI seen on a lot of Fenix lights. I do like the idea, I'm going to keep an eye out for input on how well it works.

Fenix-store has them listed at $38. Looks pretty good for the money.

I like the idea of it, but in my opinion it looks ugly and awkward, but what do i know

The knurling looks a lot grippier than previous Fenix's but the big head on a thin body makes me think it will be awkward to put away in a sheath

Just seen the price

£20! This gets more tempting despite it being ugly!

It is only £20 for the preorder though, it then goes up to £25 which still isn't bad!

It looks like a great light to have around the house or car, but I wouldn't want to carry it. I prefer to have a light that I can use in a low mode for EDC.

Very Nice! Seems like its using 2 AAA batteries.
Seems to be double-AA.
Not too sure about this one... Sure it has focus and a forward ("tactical") clicky, but why only one mode?... Why a Q2 and not a Q5? Why a smooth reflector when CREE LEDs clearly work better with textured? And why only 109 lumens and not 180, like the L2D?
L2D is still a better buy, IMO. YMMV, obviously.

It does seem odd that a Q5 isn't used.
