All I know is if I ever have to call on customer service at LM, I'm asking for Beth.
Well the paid return envelope from Leatherman came today and all is well. She even threw in a little something. Honestly to most people it might just be a notepad, but to me it's much cooler than that. I love all Leatherman branded items and this is one I had no idea existed. I'm very happy with how she handled the situation and she restored my faith in Leathermans customer service. Not just because of the little notepad or the paid envelope, but because she actually took the time to ask why I was dissatisfied and she seemed to have a interest in my input and improving the company through customer feedback. Leatherman, if your reading this PROMOTE BETH IMMEDIATELY and let her hire her own replacement as she knows what is good for your company! Seriously!
Can't help wondering if someone at LM read this thread and set alarm bells ringing that they were upsetting a bunch of people who are frequent customers....

I could of gotten any one of the 10 customer service representatives.
It's the keeping of the tax that sounds really dubious to me, just wouldn't happen here (any tax such as VAT is always included in displayed prices). Happy to hear you got taken care of in the end, but rather disappointed in the whole process.
Here is a picture of the front of the shirt that Leatherman does not show you on the website for some reason. It looks very weird when on a person. Why the Smurf would you put such a small logo dead center on a shirt? I probably wouldn't of minded if it was over to the side like a normal logo should be of this size.
If someone in my call center treated a customer this way, they would be hustling them out of the shop and keeping one eye on me, becuase I would want his head on a pike! And I don't like most of my customers. Its a bit more of a relocation than I'd want, but if they are looking for someone to boss their customer service line, I would take the job. And I would for damn sure be very clear with my displeasure if this happened to anyone else. This is completely unacceptable- yeah, jobs are hard to find. So you fire the failures and the slackers and the guys who for whatever reason just won't do the job well. Well, well, lookie here.... they are looking for a customer service lead. http://www.leatherman.com/careers.html
I feel miss led
So leatherman should not sell clothes then, just stick to tools?

No, seriously "Oregon Proud" does sound strange to me, but then I'm not a native English speaker.
Nowadays, almost everything is intentionally made not to last. I have only bad experiences with visual merchandise T-shirts of any kind. The shirts are either too thin or too thick. Too thin shirts gain the holes from the day one, the too thick ones are the recipe for the unforgettable sweating. And yes, the vertical length is almost always too big. It seems that the most of the companies don't give a damn about the quality of their promotional articles.I might go to my Victorinox dealer and search for their T-shirts. I haven't seen one yet, but I hope the Swiss have remained the ambassadors of quality.

They are of good quality.Victorinox has of course a whole clothing line. Good quality too but very pricey.
