Nature, U crazy

cell phone photo.  I was cutting the grass, and this was on the shed,  due to the bright light and high angle (above me head) I thought it was just a single fly

Thanks guys!  :salute:

One annoying thing about taking pics at the park is all the fencing you have to shoot through.  It's not as bad when the lens is opened up, but the pics don't turn out as well as I would like.

I STILL need a DSLR     but these are not bad for a point and shoot.

the wildlife was great at the Zoo today,  I will probably go to the Zoo a few days after getting my DSLR, since it is an awesome photo place!

so, with a crap camera, here is what I captured today

the special exhibit that goes away on Sept 1st is the stingray and shark petting pool.  I am a big shark person, and my youngest son is crazy about them too.
this is his third trip to the exhibit, and my first (family goes while I am at work   )  anyway the "pool" is an oval about 60 feet by 25 feet.

here is my youngest "shark testing" his G-Shock   it is a small bonnet-head shark.

and some horseshoe crabs also  (and a gratuitous G-shock cameo)

Here is the youngest very happy (this is us RETURNING to this exhibit) we spent 3.5 hours in this exhibit.

This pose seemed very strange to me,  so I took several shots.  (Come at me Bro!)

I have family living nearby in Madison. We're slowly saving up for a visit over there.

You probably wouldn't have to drive that far, the kids will want to see the zoo.  :tu:
