I got a few cool SAKs in the last couple of weeks. All but one were Alox. Some are mods, some are NOS and some are current short run models.

This one is a Bob Lessard mod based on what might have been the first Alox I ever bought some 20 years ago. It sat unused in several drawers until I finally decided to turn it into a user. Today is the first time I am carrying it. :ahhh

I think this one deserves a separate post. This week I ran into a old cross red Farmer on the local ads. It was 11PM when I saw the ad so it was late to call, but the first thing in the morning, I asked for extra pics and called dibs. This is a brand new Farmer, with the factory product number on the main blade. This was part of the traveling salesman kit, and the owner sold the entire suitcase except for the Farmer, which he kept for himself. Long story short, I bought a brand new old cross red Farmer for 50 euros and some change in shipping. Please do not ask me to sell it, it's going to its new home in Austria tomorrow.

Absolutely amazing.

This whole thread is a lesson in collecting and instills hope that we may also be able to find some of these older knives. It clearly illustrates that these knives are still out there just waiting to be discovered by collectors.

Thanks for all members who have participated.
