Bah, 31 days aint nothing.

Everyone knows a real man would double down on any bet worth making.

Go a whole nother month.  :pok:

Looks like we have a volunteer for an extra month single man challenge!  :D

Yeah if only I was part of the first challenge I would totally double down. With out a doubt. Alas I just don't think it would be right seeing how I missed the first month and all.

I really wish I could have though. To bad.

Bwak Bwak

No no I so wish I could but you know rules is rules.

I've been using my Compact almost daily to cut open boxes at work.  I used the nail file after trimming my nails last night.  I used the scissors for some whisker trimming maintenance today, and used the toothpick for its intended purpose.  One day left :D

I will say again that this challenge has proven that I could likely get by with a Compact only....if I wanted to ;)  I've only had to use pliers once this whole time.  I haven't encountered anything that the Compact couldn't handle during my normal daily life outside of that one instance of the plier need, and the one instance of needing to reach a cord under my desk.  In neither of those instances would my Rogueneer have helped.  I think it's just extra bulk I'd be carrying, but I do love it >:D

Just been using the Case Musket cut boxes down, strip wire, opened a couple of cans here and there. Miss the Compact. But I am doing pretty good with the Musket. Mainly because I know I will have to the shop. No chance thinking the Compact might be able to handle some jobs where as I know the Case can't. I really miss my Surge, Cybertools and my SOG Vulcan. They have saved me a lot of time and trips to the shops.

Props to all of you cats who have honestly gone minimalist for 30 days, as well as those who have been honest in acknowledging your withdrawal from this glorious event.

Yes my friend, your eyes are not deceiving you ;)  If I were to truly go minimalist, I'd have to give it a go with my new Pioneer.  The Compact wasn't as much of a challenge as I originally thought it may be.  The biggest challenge was missing my Rogueneer.  So now I have another problem with my carry.  I want to go back to the Rogueneer, but I also want to carry my new Pioneer, which would have to be paired with the Compact probably.  I guess we'll see after the final day of the challenge ;)

One more hour and the challenge will be over!

I had planned to see the month out but now I'm not sure.

What do you think I should do?

You probably should add Farmer, Micra, Surge and a Machete, just to compensate :D

Must admit this was not a huge challenge, since my office work doesn't require me to perform many heavy tasks. The odd open/close computer case, attach/dettach a hard drive, redo an electric cord extension and that's about it.

I'm going to see out October. It's a work day, which is never knife intensive. Saturday, though, I'm looking forward to slipping the 2014 traditional BF knife into my pocket for the first time. Tis a thing of beauty.

As for the Classic, aside from a box to tackle, I haven't used it whatsoever in the past two days.
