Some more snaps

We saw a apartment for rent in New York City for $14,000 a month  :o. I reckon these little fellas are feeling the rental squeeze in Central Park , I think there was about 9 of them trying to get in the hole in the tree.                               http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll287/multimat426/holiday/S6300289-1.jpg[/img]]                                My sister and I went to the Museum of modern art , a little disappointing for us a little heavy on the abstract art , but seeing this Andy Warhol up close was a highlight.                                                                                              http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll287/multimat426/holiday/S6300286-1.jpg[/img]]                              My 2 boys wet them selves laughing at this one , nice apples  :D , I wish I was  a little quicker on the shutter button as just before I got this shot, 2 young ladies were polishing those apples  :D Eddie would have been proud of that pic  BTW the bull is in the financial section of New York not far from the stock exchange .                                                    http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll287/multimat426/holiday/S6300251-1.jpg[/img]]

Last ones I promise . This photo is of a Korean War Memorial , it is in Battery park were you go to catch boats to see the statue of Liberty .Being overseas & seeing a memorial to the sacrifices your country men have made is special.         http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll287/multimat426/holiday/S6300260-1.jpg[/img]]                           The tour of ground zero was a highlight for me. The lady who took the tour lost her husband when the first tower fell he was helping people evacuate from the foyer , he was a fireman. She has 2 sons 1 is a fireman & the other is a officer serving in Iraq , the were 16 & 18 when they lost there dad . I really really  hope her eldest son comes home safe from Iraq . I did not realize before getting to ground zero , that they were rebuilding the site with I think 3 new towers. The photo I took shows a covered walk way over the road heading to the site. Just above the 2 window from the right on the walk way you can damage too the roof that is from 911.                                                                   http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll287/multimat426/holiday/S6300253-1.jpg[/img]]
