I just thought it was neat that Buffalo Bill Cody was a Civilian scout during the Indian Wars and was attached to the 3rd Cavalry.

We are 3rd Cav, 1st Cav is across the other side of Fort Hood from us and our friendly arch enemy.

Not at all. I meant 1st Cav Division in general. But I looked your unit up, your with 1st Armored Div.?

No we are a Seperate Regiment. We use to fall under III Corps as our parent command but now we are attached to 1st Cav.
