Hello from Northern California

I just found this site a few days ago as I was looking for a multi-tool and this site has made me more confused because of so many more choices.
A little background info:
I was in the military and 5 years was enough for me to decide it's not where I wanted to be. I worked with computers and I liked my job, but I didn't like where I was doing it so I've been out for a few months.
My EDC is a Gerber Paraframe folding knife. Initially it was a CRKT M16 knife, but that thing was just way too bulky. The Gerber Paraframe is slimmer and lighter. However, I now find that just a knife is a bit lacking and that a multi-tool would come in really handy when I don't want to search for a screwdriver. In the military, people in my unit carried either a Letherman or Gerber if they had multitools, or a folding knife that locked. I've never seen anyone there with a Swiss Army Knife or a knife without a locking blade. Now people just freak out when they see me whip out my knife or if they borrow it, they can't figure out how to close it.
I now work with computers and telephones so all I really need are pliers with wire cutter, a knife, flat and + screwdrivers. Saws and files I don't need. I was looking at the Leatherman Skeletool (regular) but with the selection I'm finding on this site is making me unsure. The CRKT Zilla Jr looks like an interesting option also.

Welcome to the forum mate
The Skeletool has got to be the most divisive tool out there at the moment, for every two people that like them, there's at least one person who doesn't like it
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

Welcome to the forums Ecam,an other reasonable priced LM with the tools that you mentioned is the LM Fuse, and the screwdrivers can get into recessed holes better.
