ive noticed,u guys there have this hitech flashlight war;)

i dont know anything better to look at,im so confused in flashlight threads,so many batteries,way too many different bulbs etc,that i dont know where to start,to upgrade from mags to some better ones.there should be some topic  like "flashlights for dummies",IMO


i could easily buy some better but there seems to be like hundred different ones.
id like to have one with some batteriees i  buy get easily,nothing special,led or cree bulb,bulletproof,weight isnt an issue at all,sheath would be nice,clip is useless,8" max,and cost 50usd at max.

meanwhile i just tune my maglite.....that doesnt exist;).

The Fenix L2D that Mike is getting would probably suit you.  That was the Q5 version and was $61 delivered anywhere in the world.

its the same with leathermans u have on ebay,brand new ones for some 50-60 usd,here theyre 90-120 euros.

its a long long time since ive wasted my money in any Finnish gear shop.....

Have you seen the Tesco torch Dunc recently reviewed it is a reasonable size and runs off C cell alkalines

The technosorcery isn't my thing the torch runs on 2 C cell batteries and costs £12-00 uk aint sure about postage to Finland .The thread was called I have a new torch and was on this forum

I have 4 Luxeon LED ElectroLumens Quadstar for sale that takes 6 AA batteries.  It is modified from a MagLite 2D body and is BRIGHT

Ihave one on my wish list but it is well down the pecking order after new work boots, a big scary Kukri,entrenching tool from Felinevet etc etc
