I have a hard time deciding...

Spirit, Farmer, Workchamp, probably.

I might be back with a couple other combos  >:D

Does that count?

Well the challenge/title doesn't say three of what you have to pick
So I guess so  :D

Painless decision for me right now, as I only have spirit, manager and squirt p4. Two edc tools and spirit for everything else.

Surge, charge tti, cybertools would be cool but I haven't found much actual use for bit driver recently. And as for swappable parts, I rather have compactly designed tool that I can send for repair if something breaks. Diamond file, OHO etc I'd just have to live without. Cybertool is awkward size and for that size it should have bettrr pliers... So that's how I come down to to those three.

Very nice choices. What do you like about the spirit?

I find it's just throughly thought out and precisely engineered, moreso than many other tools. Only problem is that for a tool to be used it looks like precious silverware inherited from dead grandmother. If you want one, I recommend buying two, a regular one that you damage right away somehow, and black oxide one that you can obsessively polish and play with secretly in your mancave, while listening to classical music.

Think that leaves me with just about every tool I might need.

Vic Swisstool Spirit X, Vic Explorer Plus, and Vic Manager.

During the work week, I'd carry the Manager. On most weekends, I'd carry the Explorer, and on heavier work times, the Spirit would get the call. Or maybe leave it in the car's glove box.

Tough call between the Manager and the Rambler; pen and tweezers are about the same usefulness level to me, but with a slight advantage to the pen.

I've got a LM Surge, but I think I prefer the Spirit's externally accessible tools to the Surge's one-hand accessible knife blade.

I've got a few three-year SAKs, but I always feel like I'm missing something from them. Not so with the Explorer.

Skeletool, Style ES, and Wave.  Easy enough.

I've been carrying the ES lately in school, and with all the electrical work I've had, it's great.

Going on a necro rampage :viking: revisiting this concept I must admit my three have changed  It's tough...as of now I would go with Spirit X, Switchplier, and Style. Reasoning: none  more about this on the next episode of Demel's Musings!

Wow. This wasn't that long ago, but my preferences are already different  In the past, I would have never submitted my "final 3" without my Octane. Since my initial picks, though, I have acquired the SwitchPlier 2.0, which has replaced the Octane for my off-duty pocket carry. And then I also got my mighty PowerLock. Both SOGs have been customized to my preference. And most recently, I got a Vic Explorer and it rides in a pocket so well. Small and light, but with a great compliment of well designed tools. I've only had it a few days but I really enjoy carrying it.

1. SOG PowerLock
2. SOG SwitchPlier 2.0
3. Vic Explorer

I still love my initial 3, but since August 2015 my situation has changed, lol

That's how I felt too. I'm glad now I never had to downsize so much. I'll have a new list by the morning.
