New Crescent Multi at Home Depot

   I picked this up earlier today and thought I would show it off! I have never seen a tool like it before and have not used it. First impressions are a mixed bag. The tool is cool looking, has a good quality feel to it, but the knife and smaller tools are just really hard to deploy. Worse yet, the knife and the wrench have a liner lock, but it is almost impossible to release the lock and fold them up without using another tool!  The smaller tools are not quite as bad, and it appears no washers were put between them. They also grind just a little when deploying. It was only $20.00, but with Leatherman's selling for just above this these days, I am wondering how many more of these cheapies I am going to buy!!

Hmm.  Do they sell another tool specifically for releasing the liner locks?

That may be how they get you.

I do like the looks of that wrench on it though. 
Think the locks will work in and get smoother?

       The wrench is the reason I purchased it. I have not seen this type on a multitool. It is possible that it will loosen after a bit of use, but The knife lock is almost impossible right now to disengage.
