Tommarow will be one full week since I recieved my pocket clip for my Wave, and thought i would give a brief review.
The clip is great to use! I love being able to carry it in my pocket over the sheath, because i can get to it easier. There is a little weight there, but it isnt bad, and after all, I wouldn't feel right now without feeling the weight there, because that would mean the Wave is gone!!
I does ride low in the pocket whice is great, and I have not had any problems with the knife blades or the tool itself opening in my pocket. I also have not had a problem with the clip falling off. I did the first too times, but I found a cure to this. Instead of pushing the slip straight down, seat the back of the clip in place, than pull it back forward and you will hear the clip snap firmly into place. Never again did it come loose.
Only have 2 fusses about the clip. One being, when using the pliers, the clip can tend to be in the way when trying to squeeze, and you can feel the clip move, and get afraid to break it, so I have to take it off if I am gonna be doing some hard squeezing. Secondly is that in the process of the clip moving back in forth, there are some deep scratchs in the side. The looks arent what bother me, as its a tool and gonna get dirty and scratches all over it, but I am more worried about the wear factor. Will it eventually wear all the way through that part of the clip, or even worse the tool handle?
Other than that though I like it, and it seems to be sturdy. Does anybody else have a another fuss of positive about the clip they could share?
