From the original data set:
32% of the sample is 35-44 yrs old

and 80% of the sample is 25-54 yrs old

From the adjusted data set:
35% of the sample is 35-44 yrs old

and 78% of the sample is 25-54 yrs old

So, what's the conclusion? That it's mostly younger/middle-aged people who work and can afford to waste a fortune on all sorts of steel?

I could give proper analysis but I will have to get paid, and Megan will not be happy..

This survey focuses on the active members, rather than those who are registered.

It shows, just like most similar surveys that the significant 80% is made of people 25 to 45.

It is actually 5 times harder to get a new "customer" than to keep an existing one.

so, if the emphasis is on keeping the members happy and in large numbers, then more emphasis will be needed on products/subjects of interest to that group.

However, if there is a desire to have more members in the future, then more emphasis will have to be placed on attracting younger members, something that seems to be lacking, especially if you consider that they are more likely to be interested in an internet based forum.

The older people, though not many, seem to be reasonable in numbers for a generation that is not really into the internet and computers, but there still need to be emphasis on them, as the people who are in the 80% group now will at some point become part of the older group.

Will they stay or will they leave?

If there was a possibility i would have included date of registration, posts, sex (no, not that..) etc, in the poll
