There's something funny about that AT&T advertising knife. I guess those must have been gifts to investors or something, because I can't see those cheapskates giving name brand swag to their employees.

Who ever had it never used it so it's like new and advertising 111mm aren't very common so out of thousands of Trekkers this one is a little unique. For what I paid for it I'm not going to complain about AT&T having their logo on it but I'm not going to bitch if it rubs off either.

This is my Käsemesser upgrade from my old Hardwood Cheese model, which has the opener layer that I don't use (because I always have one in my pocket). Shows the serration pattern from the reverse angle. I use it for KP when I need something bigger than a 91-93mm main blade, so not often, but also to remove corks and bits of underdone potato from teeth.  :D

The front scale reminds me of the OC alox.  :) I did search for a limited edition horn scaled model, but never found one that wasn't outrageously priced.  :-\

$40 is more that what you'd pay on sale for a 111mm with more functions. But its thin, light weight, and in some respects makes me wonder why I spent twice that on my Spyderco edc.
BTW anyone seen one with just the file, and the rest of the standard functions?

I think the metal file is the "premium" item for the 111mm.  Based on the catalog, I don't see anyone below a Workchamp and Locksmith having a metal file.  I would like something like that too -- something like a 91mm Mountaineer but in 111mm.

Here's some pics to compare the old linerlock with the new using a DE GM  Trekker and a 2011 Soldier. I had no idea the old lock was so much thinner then the newer ones. But now I understand why the newer ones need the press bump.
Without it there's not enough to get your fingers on to unlock the lock on the heavier spring.

The bigger models aren't more special than the others (or less), they're just bigger and will handle bigger tasks.
