I am thinking about getting a B66 to replace my perfectly fine B60, but I have a couple questions.  I know it's not out yet but hopefully someone here has more knowledge of it then I do.

First is it possible to replace the b66 v cutter with the scissors from my b60?  I kow the scissors count as two components but hopefully the v cutter does too. 

And any idea if the two knife blades will be replaceable?  I am very hard on my b60 and the knife blade is by far the most used part of it. I've sharpened it to the point that it almost needs replaced and it's very nice knowing that when the time comes I can pop a new one in for 7 bucks.  I just really hope the power assists have that option too. I don't wanna buy a sog that I have to baby.

Well I don't know for sure about the blades they "might" be able to be swapped when the time comes, they operate on the same technology that is in thier knives and folks take those appart all the time, this being double assisted and whatnot....don't know.

The scissors should can be swapped, they operate off the same locking system as the Powerlock 2.0, only difference is that it will take up two lock springs rather than the one required for the v-cutter. Hope this helps.

According to our buddy Chris@SOG he says it is still set for release this year, probably Sept. Many problems and hurdles they are overcoming to make this tool possible, question is....is it worth all the trouble?? (Spyderwrench comes to mind  )
