Get a carbon while you're at it , what's nine more bucks
The two I ordered came in today. Pretty handsome knives and the lock mechanism is interesting too. Not exactly a one handed opener but should be good for tasks around the house and garden. Interestingly enough, my garden knife came with a tiny bit of rust and a slight step in the blade. Like there was a hitch in the machine putting on the edge. Nothing too big that can't be corrected and overall the knife seems like a lot of quality for the price. I'd say it was worth picking up for miscellaneous tasks. The polished stainless and bubinga wood version looks very nice and would make a good desk knife. I might sand down the wood to a finer finish and soak it in linseed oil as I've heard that can really bring out the natural beauty of the wood. I'll see about taking some pictures later.
Coded in olive oil and bake it for 45 minutes at 3:50. Darkens the handle and gives a satin finish.

I am just not feeling the stainless Opies. To pretty and lacking the character of a nice carbon blade patina to go with some worn wood handle.
