Cleaning oxide: Coke - Vinegar - Lemon juice
on: January 21, 2016, 04:03:31 PM
Time 5 hours!!!

The best the vinegar!!!   :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

I have a Wenger Pocket Tool Chest all in stainless steel, and has some oxide inside the liners.
Could I put it inside a bowl with vinegar, then cleaning it with water and after that hairdryer???
I think it is not possibe (and even if it was, I don´t want) to disassemble the scales.

What do you think???

Thanks!!!

As long as you're careful with the hairdryer (so you don't warp the scales), I see no reason why that shouldn't work just fine. Just use a lot of fresh water so your knife doesn't smell of vinegar, and re-oil it afterwards.
