Alright, here it is, my (not so) epic thread for the February challenge.  I'll give it my best shot to try and post here everyday.

With me being on the truck at work, it kills my time for being able to snap pics, and post more.  I'll start it off with an old pic though, just to wet your whistle. ;)

Ok, the Champ had major use today. It cut tape that was holding my knee wrap on.

What happened to your knee?
According to the doctors, nothing. I've been battling with a bum knee for close to 20 years, and they can't find anything wrong with it.

Now it doesn't hurt all the time, just flares up every now and then. It will get to the point that I feel like I could throw up it hurts so band.

So between this and hurting my back at work, I'm a wreck! Lol

Drink plenty of water, you don't want to add a kidney stone to that list.

Well I might as well withdraw from this since I haven't posted since the first.  My knee has been killing me too badly for me to want to even try to participate. :(  I had to leave work early today since I could hardly walk, or even move my leg.

It's friggin brutal.  Pain in general doesn't bother me.  I've had nails in me, really bad gashes, bad falls, you name it, and none of that has ever bothered me.  But my knee...  This is the worse it has ever flared up, and the pain is almost unbearable.

I actually sat here today with a large needle, contemplating sticking it in my knee to see if it's a fluid build up that's causing it.  I was close to doing it, but didn't want to risk hitting something I shouldn't, and end up making things worse.

Could be worth another checkup or scan. That type of pain can really do a number on you. Hopefully it eases up quickly.

I will be going in to get it looked at again. :tu:  It's feeling a bit better so far today.  I think giving it a good rest yesterday helped quite a bit.

+1 are you on analgesics like Ibuprofen. Cold compresses to reduce swelling?

I have been taking Ibuprofen for it, but it hasn't really been doing too much.  It has helped reduce the throbbing though, and that's a plus.

I've been alternating between cold and hot compresses, and trying to keep my leg straight and slightly elevated.

+1  Better get looked at again and ask about underlying things like Gout, RA etc that could cause that kind of joint inflammation. Good to rule out  things like that to make sure it's a localized physical injury and not an manifestation of a systemic prob.    :salute:
