I'm curious about this too. Most Olights have a powerful rare earth magnet in the tail cap and there are other brands that have them as well. Never heard of any problems though.

Never heard of any problems though.I love the idea of a magnet in the tail cap. I was worried about the magnet ruining the light somehow. I was also thinking about when carried loose in a pocket how it will stick to your keys and such so when you pull one thing out of your pocket everything else comes out as well. Doesn't sound so good.
Today, my fixed blade Bahco Carpenter (rebranded Mora)'s sheath was clipped to my watch pocket. Usually, it's whatever I carry in addition to a thin SAK or pocketknife--usually a pliers based tool or thick SAK.
