The leverage is in the handles not the head. Also as a guess the handle ends of the SOG pliers aren't shaped right for the slip joint.The other thing is it might conflict with other tools the SOG heads are really long.

That it's not possible is a bit of a truth with modification. Or rather, it needs lots of modification to have a chance to get it to work. User jlwatso1 has started something like this in his Surge badge thread (probably got a taste for the wire stripper and compound leverage from the SOG Power challenge). I don't think he's finished though.Most certainly not a straight drop-in though.
