Count me in.  Bought it used, it already had the scales done and stone washed blades.  Still warming up to it because I'm used to seeing shiny blades:

Pioneer X or modded 91mm scissors?

I like the look. It's kind of a lighter wash than some I've seen, at least the way it shows up on my screen. And I love that green! Is that the dunkelgrün or darker? I can smell the mossy brook just looking at it. Nice knots too. Way beyond my comfort zone with paracord tying.  Very nice and very new looking for a used one.

X or modded 91mm?  Hmmmm  I never thought it could be a modded 91mm, but that does make sense.  The seller called it a Pioneer X, so I just figured it was.  The wash is pretty true to how the screen shows it, not too dark.  I think it was the green scales that made me love it most...though I don't know which green it is.
The lanyard came with it.  :tu:

My money is on it being modded cause the nail nick is on the opposite side from a factory Pioneer X  Still it is a very nice SAK and that green is lovely :dd: :like: :like:

Speaking of mods, does anyone have a link to the torx screws used on the alox mods? My new job leaves me a lot of free time and I'd like to try my hand in it.

Good eye.  I was wondering if there was something that would make this stand out as a mod vs. genuine and I think you found it.  :tu:

Three things that made it stand out as a mod:

1. Stonewashed tools
2. Pin screws
3. Scissor nail nick position

I thought it was a genuine Pioneer X that had the pin screws because they took it apart to stonewash the tools and anodize the scales green.  Plus trusting the seller that it was an X.
Newbie mistake on my part.  :twak:

They most certainly don't!

I wish I got "misrepresented" knives like that!

As you might be getting the idea by now, the modded version of a Pioneer X is preferred here over the factory version ;) :D The brass and green do go together very nice :dd:

I like the factory version and am glad they came out with it but I would choose that green beauty over mine any day :like:

Here's my Schweizermesser X...also in dark green.

Last night, after overdosing on a Lindt chocolate Santa, I ordered one of these in red... not like I need it, but there you go.
