I have been carrying my silver Pioneer X non stop for months now (except for the few days I misplaced it--I felt lost. lol). The scissors work quite fine for me when I need them.

IMO, the scissors are the best part of the pioneer. If all the tools I've been the most impressed with them. Mine got a work out today cutting  lengths of paracord. Never even faltered.

The capability of the scissors was never in question for me. It was the placement of the nail nick. Now that I've carried it a few days I've gotten use to it and actually like that I don't have to spin the knife around to access it.

Hmm...I've never attempted a badge before. Might consider this one. It really is a lovely setup.

The capability of the scissors was never in question for me. It was the placement of the nail nick. Now that I've carried it a few days I've gotten use to it and actually like that I don't have to spin the knife around to access it.

Grim and dark - even outside there's barely enough light to take photos.
That thing in the front is supposed to be green, though it looks coal black on my screen.
Red and grey are more photogenic - Schweizer Messer were right about moving their S to the blade...
