Italy would have been sweet to play against. I think they have nightmares just thinking about us. :P

But our commentator is confused as always. ::) England is 2nd in group B, and we're gonna play the 3rd team from either group B, E or F if I'm reading all of this right.

I don't think Croatia are in the same half of the draw as England but honestly, from a long-standing England supporter, your boys would have nothing to fear at all. Croatia are a vastly superior side to England and we have got an absolute clown for a manager. Croatia are streets ahead.

In World Cups and Euros, everyone who plays against England has the advantage. Sorry English fellows but that's a simple truth. Premier League is another matter, there you also have players from the other three kingdoms, from Europe, South America and a bit of Africa.

yep now I noticed my mistake as well. So Slovakia, Portugal or Sweden... yep I'd still prefer England

I was rooting for Croatia to win anyways, Spain was already through to the next round...

Today's Portugal match will be at 17h. Don't know if I'll manage to see their last game in this Euro...

Well, everyone else is playing with a team of 11...

Besides, portuguese people don't know the meaning of "impossible"...

Portugal isn't out?

With this business of some third-placed teams going through, they are still in the competition.

Finally, a game that counts for something and hey presto, we have a real contest.

Going from 16-24 countries was an unfathomable decision by Platini.

Oh wait... there was extra money involved.

No, silly. It's the UK that is thinking about getting out. Still voting on it, though...

We should all support Switzerland here, no?
A great goal indeed. It reminds me one by a Mexican (or was it Spanish?) player in some World Cup, years ago. Was it 1986? Anyone remembers?

PS. I remembered, it was Negrete in Mexico vs Bulgaria 1986, the second best goal in the tournament after god's goal in Maradona vs England (the one with god's foot).
