Are you practicing for your First aid badge
Actually beer or any alcoholic beverage may not be a good idea at that moment. Alcohol widens the venes (that is why it's a no-no if you're moutaineering in winter; it causes you to lose heat much easily) and may increase your bleeding. In any case, I wish you a quick recovery Don't forget to apply for the badge

Keep your hand elevated, to decrease blood pressure. Avoid using it (less muscle work, less pressure). 1. Sterilize the wound, clean it weel and just let the band aid hold the cut shut. 2. Use warm water to remove the band aid, so as not to have it pull the skin. 3. If WoundShut=False GoTo 1.4. Resume daily activities.Hope you heal well and fast!
