Stanley Plier Watch

Several members have this one or more than one.  Here's mine.  Unusual, wacky, and totally cool. I present the Stanley Plier Watch multi tool.

Nice as an oddity, awful as a work solution, excellent for a collector, I think.

Nailed it !

IMO these various Stanley promo clock/tools varied from "somewhat useful in limited circumstances" to "what the hell were they smoking when they thought this up ? "  They were originally marketed in a silver & black mini toolbox.

My personal favourite is the clock/bit driver that looks like a floating WWII bomb   (but the clock/pliers came a close second)

The prevailing theory is/was that these were given as "attaboys" to sales staff at Stanley, or handed out at corporate events.

They certainly wouldn't have been given to the technical staff at Stanley or their tools would be horrible.
