Y'all always asking what to use to introduce your kids to the world of tools and knives.
Turns out, the answer is tools and knives!
I did a quick search and didn't see a mention of this already (shame on you if you already knew about it and never brought it up!)
Corvus Toys does a line of tools, knives, kids, and projects for the hands-on kid.
Make your own knife (well, assemble) and then use it to whittle!
Starting with rough shapes they "finish" to blanks to work from scratch.
They do kits for boats, planes, and rigging/pulleys to make cranes and lifts, or build their own swing!
Okay okay, we all know where to buy knives (and balsa wood, and pliers, hammers, rope, blocks etc)
but having it packaged and sold specifically for kids is brilliant. I'm pretty close to buying some for myself!
Anyway, it's the first time I've seen it, and I'm chuffed as, so I wanted to share it.
