For alox that means disassembling the knife. Easier for celidor, just remove the scale, but as Steve said you'd need some sort of backing in the scale to get a secure hold. Filling the back of the scale with "Quik Steel" type epoxy putty might be an option, they say it can be drilled and tapped when cured.
