it will be like small cars... every new version gets a little bigger, until they are not small anymore

like the ford focus being bigger than the original mondeo

YOU decided on 1 minute, stick with it. show dedication, commitment, do not go for the easy option. YOU can do it if you believe in yourself.

WE believe in you - do you believe in you?? JUST DO IT!!!!!!!

Why was there not one yesterday?

Probably everyone is used to the videos already, so they are just watching and not commenting?

They're getting slicker Grant  :tu:

When you get around to doing the Vic Spirit, do you plan on playing the vid at 3x speed to get it down to one minute  :P :D Seriously, it looks like it will be a challenge to do one of the "fuller" tools without it looking rushed.

I just wasn't able to get one put together yesterday.  No excuse.  Just a fail.  :D

I've thought of that.  The way I see it, with the Spirit and Swiss Tool I'll just have to highlight the important bits.

Maybe keep the "Multitool Minute" for the simpler end of the tool spectrum, and do "mini reviews" (at a similar speed) for the more heavily laden tools - same concept, just not time specific.

As i said,  the Multitool Minute is just the first step.  i plan on doing longer, more in depth reviews as well.  They will still be concise though. I have no desire to subject anyone to eight to ten minutes of rambling and package opening.

To be honest, the MM videos aren't really designed with forum members in mind- the info is pretty basic for most members here.  My hope is to interest other people and bring them here too, so they can learn the ways of the Plier People.  :D

I prefer to read reviews with pics about tools or anything . I dislike audiobooks, podcasts and youtube reviews, perhaps because my worktool is talking and listening to people who talk all the time. However, I find review videos very useful, since they help me percept the way a tool is holded, how it opens or functions, its momentum and torques at hand, its noise (or music if you like) and similar characteristics.1 minute is usually enough for that, unless I need to see all blades of an XAVT opened and closed. I don't even need the talking, music neither, since they both cover the sounds of the tool. It is very rare to find a video review the way I need it to be.

I honestly don't recall ever using that can opener, come to think of it.  Next time I have to open a can I'll try to remember to give it a shot and let you know.  TBH, I rarely use a can opener these days, and even lee often require a multitool can opener.
