very nice but isn't absolute maximum minimalism just using a rock and some wood! how about some shots of where you work bro, sounds really interesting
Nice pics! I carry just a P4 some times. It really does most EDC stuff with ease. PS. How do you like that Case Peanut? I've been thinking about getting one of those Yellow handle CV Peanuts... Seems like the ultimate minimal/traditional knife on the market. I might even try carrying just that and a Zippo and see how long I can last before I come running back to my MTs.
Nice picture latinoheat, you have a very interesting job Just out of curiosity, if for example a gator went rogue and you have to put it down. Can you kill it with a knife on the head through the skull into the brain just like in the movies or do you have to go through the throat to the brain? Thanks
Why?
Quote from: Gadget Guy on November 03, 2008, 08:09:51 AMWhy? I've been carrying around so much crap that never gets used, so I'm going to see how little I can carry and still get stuff done. Just replaced both spirit and compact with a micra on keychain.

ThanksBack in the 80s, there was a gator at our park that was old and dying, and in a bit of discomfort. The guys decided to put it out of it's misery. They took it out back and shot it in the head with a .40 caliber pistol. The bullet bounced off it's head. A knife to the head won't work, neither would a knife to the throat, since as soon as you got close to it's throat it would tear your arm off. Rogue gator. Hmmmm. We would just catch it and put it in with gators it's size or bigger. They'd handle things all on their own.
A .40 caliber round can ricochet off a human skull too, so I'm not surprised it happened to a gator. It sounds like you guys found a great solution to the problem!
